i purchased a new ceramic electric cooktop range. can i use my pots and pans to cook on this or do i need som?
use my cookware? i own revere ( copper clad) and copper (paul revere) and some non stick t fal>>> do i need something special to keep from scratching it?? its electric.

I have a stove like this. You can cook on it like any other electric range. There should have come with it a bottle of special surface cleaner. You also want to keep a scraper to loosen burnt spills. The cleaner is a gritty liquid. You can order it from KitchenAid at 1-800-4221230 or Whirlpool at 1-800-253-1301. Ask for Part #3184477. The product is called Cook Top Cleaning Creme for Smoth Top Ranges.
