Stainless Steel Copper
Mom buys me cookware set for the wedding … Should I get stainless steel, anodized, copper?
I cook probably 3-4 times a week, and we have the 2 lil, 8 and 1.
Stainless steel and hard anodized will cook almost anything. Copper heats up faster, but requires cleaned frequently to keep finishing and heat conductivity. The heavier the better because the heat is evenly distributed in heavy metal which give more even cooking. Coated with Teflon is a good feature, but there is some controversy over whether it is really healthy and you have to use special utensils to avoid scratching the finish of Teflon. Get the best you can afford for you. Cookware good quality can last a lifetime.
