Quart Pressure Cooker
Pressure Cooker / Canner size … bigger better?
I'm thinking about buying a pressure cooker, the main reason is for the processing industry (quarts / liters), but who knows, you might love this stuff and use it all the time. At this time, 4-5 bottles of room at a time, probably will be the norm, which can handle both. My question is about the size to get, at Amazon, the difference between the 23qt Presto 16qt vs is about 13 bux. It was originally to get the 16, but now I wondered if I should get the 23? Is there any reason to * not * get one bigger than me, probably need? Is there any real negative with a large pot, for example, if I only wanted a small amount can? (2-3 liters).
I can use a lot and basically 16qt for reasons of time, because you have to use the pressure cooker on your stove top and oven bigger is bigger than the stove eye so it takes longer to heat and cooling, so if you're only interested in doing a few at a time I would go with 16qt otherwise, does not really matter in my opinion.
