Well, you are watering and feeding of the Bonsai down. You think you're home free. Not a chance. There are still things you need to do to successfully achieve the beauty of these little Japanese wonders. Since the care of the root system is essential for the survival of trees you need to know how and when returning to their potting bonsai. This is one of many steps designed to Bonsai Care.

The importance of Re-potting

Young trees grow faster and be bonsai repotting once a year. The older trees less often and eventually reach to a point in the transplant every 5 years is enough. Transplantation should be done in late winter or early spring. This is when the buds begin to swell. First, You should prune your bonsai. Take away unwanted or large branches.
